Kimberly N. Overton

Kimberly N. Overton is an Adjunct Professor at the Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law at Campbell University, where she teaches Prosecution Advocacy. She currently serves as Chief Resource Prosecutor for the North Carolina Conference of District Attorneys, providing technical assistance and training to criminal justice professionals. Previously, she worked as an Assistant District Attorney in Halifax County, NC, handling a broad range of cases.

Her expertise lies in traffic safety, criminal justice advocacy, and legal education. Overton has authored prosecution manuals and pioneered programs like the nationally recognized Traffic Safety Resource Prosecutor initiative. She lectures globally, delivering courses and keynote speeches on criminal justice topics, and has engaged with over 40 states and three countries.
