Kimberly M. Carlson is an Associate Professor at New York University’s Department of Environmental Studies, part of the Faculty of Arts & Science. Her research focuses on human impacts on terrestrial socio-ecological systems, particularly the environmental consequences of agriculture and private environmental governance. She holds a PhD from Yale University (2012) and a BS from Stanford University (2004).
