Kimberly Leite-Morris

Kimberly Leite-Morris is an Assistant Professor in the School of Medicine at Boston University, affiliated with the Division of Psychiatry and the Department of Pharmacology and Experimental Therapeutics. She directs a neurochemistry and behavioral neuroscience laboratory at the VA Boston Healthcare System (VABHS), focusing on addiction mechanisms and substance abuse research.

Her research examines neurochemical mechanisms underlying ethanol craving and consumption through rodent models and in vivo microdialysis. She incorporates pharmacological interventions targeting GABA receptors and studies dopamine, GABA, and glutamate dynamics.
