Kimberly Erikson is an Assistant Professor and the Associate Program Director for Clinical Education, as well as the Director of Assessments & Outcomes for the Physician Assistant program at Arcadia University. She has over 14 years of clinical experience in women's health and has been dedicated to PA education since 2016.
Her educational background includes:
- Bachelor of Science in Biology from Pennsylvania State University (2000)
- Master of Physician Assistant Studies from Arcadia University (2004)
Dr. Erikson's research focuses on breaking down barriers to healthcare by increasing access for students from underrepresented minority and underserved backgrounds. She is currently pursuing an EdD in Educational Leadership at Arcadia University, with an emphasis on enhancing outcomes in PA education. Her work aims to improve educational strategies and curriculum effectiveness to better serve diverse student populations.
As an educator, she has been instrumental in delivering lectures on women's health at multiple institutions including Arcadia University, Jefferson University, and DeSales University. Her role as Director of Assessments and Outcomes involves advancing curriculum effectiveness and student success in the PA program.
