Kimberly Bolton is a Professor and Assistant Chair of Graduate Studies in Nursing at Carson-Newman University, affiliated with the College of Professional Studies. She teaches in both the family nurse practitioner and nurse educator tracks within the graduate nursing program.
Dr. Bolton earned her BSN, MSN, and PhD from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. Her clinical expertise lies in women’s health, and she has been a certified Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner since 1991 through the National Credentialing Center. She continues to practice clinically in collaboration with an OB/GYN physician in Knoxville.
Her primary research interests include women’s health and domestic violence, with a strong focus on clinical nursing practice and education.
