Dr. Kimberley Reid is a Research Fellow in the Department of Life Sciences at Imperial College London, affiliated with the Faculty of Natural Sciences. She holds an MRC-funded position in Clinical Variant Interpretation within the Child Lab. Her work focuses on defining the functional impact of Post Translational Modification (PTM) variants in rare disease cohorts through Genomics England's genome resource, bridging genomic associations with biochemical mechanisms.
Education: BSc from Cardiff University and PhD from the Royal Veterinary College. Previous roles include Post-Doctoral Research Fellow positions at University College London's School of Pharmacy and Institute of Child Health.
