Professor Kim Yang-hee is affiliated with Sejong University and works across the Department of Life Sciences and Department of Bio-Convergence Engineering. She leads the Neurobiology Lab and founded the faculty startup Zincure.
Her research focuses on:
- Mechanisms of neurodegeneration in brain diseases
- Enhancement of autophagic flux and lysosomal function
- Zinc neurobiology
- Development of novel therapeutics for acute brain injury and neurodegenerative diseases
