Kim De Meulenaere is a tenure-track Assistant Professor at the Department of Management at the University of Antwerp and Antwerp Management School. She holds a PhD from the University of Antwerp (2015) and was a postdoctoral researcher at KU Leuven (2016–2020). Her research focuses on age demographics, diversity & inclusion (D&I), employee turnover, and compensation strategies. She collaborates with organizations like SD Worx and teaches HRM, organizational behavior, and labor policy. Notable contributions include studies on multigenerational workplaces, age polarization, and wage gap dynamics. She is part of the 'Next Generation Work' research team at AMS.
Her work emphasizes inclusive leadership, employability strategies, and the impact of workplace demographics on productivity. She advocates for policies that bridge generational divides and promote sustainable careers. Recent articles highlight the need for age-inclusive practices and address systemic wage disparities.
