Kim Boltjes

Kim Boltjes serves as a Visiting fellow at the Erasmus School of Social and Behavioural Sciences, Erasmus University Rotterdam, affiliated with the Science Public Issues and Imaginaries research group.

Her research centers on the interplay between scientific knowledge production, public discourse, and societal imaginaries, with primary focus areas in Science and Technology Studies, Public Policy, and Sociology. This work examines how scientific controversies are framed and negotiated within public spheres and institutional settings.

She contributes to the Science Public Issues and Imaginaries team, which investigates the cultural and political dimensions of emerging scientific issues through interdisciplinary social science approaches.
