Kim-Anh Do

Kim-Anh Do, Ph.D., is a Professor and former Chair (2012–2020) in the Department of Biostatistics at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. She holds adjunct professorships at Rice University and Texas A&M University. Her research focuses on biostatistical methodologies applied to cancer research, including clinical trials and data-driven healthcare analytics.

Dr. Do has received prestigious awards such as the MD Anderson Faculty Scholar Award (2003) and the Texas 4000 Distinguished Professorship (2013). She currently holds the Electa C. Taylor Chair. Her work bridges statistical innovation with translational cancer research, contributing to advancements in precision medicine and oncology data analysis.

She maintains academic ties through adjunct roles at Rice University’s Department of Statistics and Texas A&M University’s Department of Statistics. Her professional contributions include leadership in biostatistical education and collaborative research initiatives within the Division of Discovery Science at MD Anderson.
