Kilian Lenz

Dr. Kilian Lenz is the Research Group Head of the Magnetization Dynamics group at the Helmholtz-Zentrum Dresden-Rossendorf (HZDR). His primary affiliation is with the Department of Magnetism within the Institute of Ion Beam Physics and Materials Research. He leads research focused on spin dynamics, ferroic materials, and advanced magnetic modeling techniques.

His research interests include investigating magnetic material behavior under extreme conditions, with applications in spintronics and functional materials development. Key areas of study involve interface magnetism, micromagnetic simulations, and the control of magnetization dynamics through external stimuli.
