Kiersten K. Withrow

Kiersten K. Withrow is an Assistant Professor at DeSales University, affiliated with the College of Healthcare Professions and the Division of Nursing. She serves as Faculty Advisor for the DSU Student Nurses' Association and has clinical expertise in labor, delivery, and postpartum care.

• Education: BS in Health Studies (Anthropology, Biology, Psychology) from Michigan State University; BSN from Grand View University; MSN from University of Phoenix; pursuing an MBA at DeSales University.

Research Interests focus on nursing education, student wellbeing, cadaver lab utilization, and professional development. She is certified in Inpatient Obstetrics, Breastfeeding Education, and NSNA Student Advising.

Teaching Responsibilities include undergraduate courses in Fundamentals of Nursing, Health Assessment, Therapeutic Interventions, Obstetric and Geriatric Clinicals, and Senior Clinical Internship. She also teaches wellness, professionalism, leadership, and maternal/child care.
