Kibrom A. Abay

Kibrom A. Abay is a Senior Research Fellow in the Development Strategies and Governance Unit at the International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI) in Washington, DC. He holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Copenhagen, Denmark, and previously served as a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Copenhagen and the International Livestock Research Institute (ILRI).

His research encompasses agricultural economics, development economics, and behavioral economics, with thematic focus areas including:
