Khyiah Angel

Dr. Khyiah Angel is a Lecturer in Education at Charles Darwin University, affiliated with the STEAM-Lab within the College of Indigenous Futures, Education, and the Arts. She teaches Technologies Curriculum, English Curriculum, and Visual Arts Curriculum across undergraduate and postgraduate programs.

Her research focuses on gamification and game-based learning, technology pedagogy, and multimodal storytelling, particularly for neurodivergent students. Current projects investigate Virtual Escape Rooms and Minecraft Classroom applications in tertiary education.

Dr. Angel has published two Young Adult novels and an academic work exploring multimodality as an authorial competency. She is advancing research on synchronous/asynchronous learning modules through immersive technologies.
