Dr. Khushubo Devi Tiwari is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Max Planck Institute for Sustainable Materials in Düsseldorf, Germany, affiliated with the Microstructure Physics and Alloy Design department. Her research focuses on sustainable metallurgy and materials synthesis, particularly in hydrogen plasma-based iron ore reduction, phase transformations, and nanostructured materials. She holds a Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering from IIT Kanpur, a Master’s in Metallurgical Engineering from IIT BHU, and a Bachelor’s in Metallurgical Engineering from NIT Raipur.

Selected scientific achievements include the Alexander von Humboldt Postdoctoral Research Fellowship, with a publication record spanning from 2016 to 2023 in journals covering materials synthesis, phase transformations, and sustainable processing techniques.
