Kholoud Khalil

Kholoud Khalil is an associate professor in the School of Nursing at California State University, Long Beach (CSULB), serving as a full-time faculty member since 2014. She holds a PhD in Nursing from the University of San Diego, an MSN from Al-Quds University, and a BSN from Jordan University of Science and Technology. Her research focuses on health promotion and disease prevention for women in ethnic/minority groups, nursing education, and obesity-related issues. Dr. Khalil has extensive experience as a critical care nurse in both U.S. and international settings.

She is a member of professional organizations including the American Association of Critical Care Nurses, National League for Nursing, Western Institute of Nursing, and Sigma Theta Tau International. Her work includes numerous peer-reviewed publications and presentations at national/international conferences.

Dr. Khalil is tenured and works in the NUR-17 office. She holds certifications in Acute/Critical Care Nursing (CCRN).
