Khaled ElMahgoub is an Associate Teaching Professor in the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department at Tufts University. He holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering from the University of Mississippi (2010), an MBA from Boston University (2022), and an M.Sc. in Computer Science from Georgia Tech (2020). His academic career includes teaching and research roles at Cairo University and MIT’s Auto-ID Labs. Professionally, he has led roles in radar validation at Autoliv and Philips, and currently heads software quality at Philips while teaching at Tufts.

Awards include the ACES Early Career Award (2014) and IEEE senior membership.
Teaching focuses on radar engineering, software engineering in regulated industries, and probabilistic systems analysis. His work bridges academia and industry, emphasizing practical applications in embedded systems and IoT.
