Khaled Abdelghany

Dr. Khaled Abdelghany is a Professor in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Southern Methodist University (SMU) and a Fellow at the Stephanie and Hunter Hunt Institute for Engineering and Humanity. He holds a Ph.D. from the University of Texas at Austin (2001) and has been at SMU since 2004, serving in various roles including Interim Chair (2022) and Chair (2011–2016).
