Khaladdin Rzayev is a Senior Lecturer in Finance at the University of Edinburgh Business School, specializing in Accounting and Finance. His research focuses on corporate finance, algorithmic trading, and financial econometrics, with affiliations to the Edinburgh Centre for Financial Innovations. He holds a PhD in Finance from the University of Edinburgh and has previously earned academic qualifications in Financial Economics, Information Systems, and Economics.
Research interests include price dynamics, arbitrage mechanisms, and the transformative role of technology in financial markets, particularly in cryptocurrency adoption and high-frequency trading. His work explores liquidity fragility across asset classes and the interplay between technological innovation and market behavior.
