Kevin Yunqing Kang

Kevin Yunqing Kang is an Associate Professor jointly affiliated with the Department of Ocean and Mechanical Engineering and the Department of Biomedical Engineering at Florida Atlantic University (FAU). His research focuses on biomaterials, tissue engineering, and regenerative medicine, with emphasis on bioceramics, polymers, and hydrogels for biomedical applications. He leads the FAU Kang Biomaterials Group, which develops novel biomaterials for bone regeneration and drug delivery systems while studying cell-biomaterial interactions and stem cell behavior.
