Kevin Vander Meulen

Kevin Vander Meulen is a Professor of Mathematics at Redeemer University, where he has taught since 1994. He also holds an Adjunct Professor appointment in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at McMaster University. His academic background includes a Ph.D. and M.Sc. in Mathematics and Statistics from Queen’s University (1995 and 1991) and a B.Sc. Hon. in Mathematics from Calvin College (1989).

His research focuses on Linear Algebra and Graph Theory, including combinatorial matrix analysis, sign patterns, inertia, eigenvalue problems, and vertex decomposability. He has secured research funding through an NSERC Discovery Grant (2016–2021).
