Kevin Stevens

Kevin Stevens is an Associate Professor and Co-Director of the Laurier Institute for Water Science at Wilfrid Laurier University's Faculty of Science. His research focuses on plant-environment interactions in urban and natural watersheds.

• BSc, MSc, and PhD in Botany from the University of Guelph

His research examines anthropogenic stressors on wetland ecosystems, with specific interests in:

• Contaminant effects on plants
• Plant-soil symbionts (arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi, rhizosphere bacteria)
• Wetland restoration and creation
• Rarity and invasiveness in wetland vegetation
• Constructed wetland optimization
