Kevin Ripka is an Associate Professor of Instruction in the Department of Journalism and Mass Communication at The University of Iowa. He holds positions in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences. His expertise spans visual communication, interactive design, and data visualization. Previously, he worked at the Cornell Lab of Ornithology, an advertising agency, and in commercial photography and graphic design roles. He teaches courses on graphic design, interactive design, photography, and data visualization.
