Kevin Pursel

Kevin Pursel is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Restorative Dentistry and Comprehensive Care at the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine. He holds a DMD degree from the same institution (1993) and completed a general practice residency at the University of Maryland Hospital, where he served as Chief Resident in Hospital Dentistry. With over 27 years of private practice experience, he specializes in integrating advanced dental technologies like laser-assisted dentistry, digital scanning, and CAD/CAM same-day dentistry into clinical workflows. He has also held leadership roles, including Regional Dental Director, Invisaleader, and Co-Chairman of the Clinical Culture Committee, and earned an MBA in 2002 from Saint Francis University.
