Kevin Parsons

Dr. Kevin Parsons is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Evolution & Diversity at the University of Glasgow. His research focuses on evolutionary biology, evo-devo, phenotypic plasticity, and the impacts of environmental changes on species adaptation. He has published extensively on topics such as thermal adaptation in fish, genetic basis of morphological divergence, and the evolutionary mechanisms underlying adaptive radiations.

Research interests include understanding how phenotypic plasticity interacts with genetic factors to drive adaptive responses, particularly in Arctic charr and African cichlids. His work also explores the effects of climate change on metabolic rates and behavior in fish populations.
