Kevin P. Hinkle

Kevin P. Hinkle serves as an Adjunct Professor in the Emergency and Disaster Management program at Thomas Jefferson University's East Falls Campus in Philadelphia, PA.

His educational background includes:

• MS in Disaster Medicine and Management from Philadelphia University (2010)
• BS in Organizational Psychology from Albright College (2002)
• Diploma in Professional Nursing from Saint Joseph's University (1985)

Professor Hinkle specializes in emergency response systems with research foci on disaster medicine integration, public health crisis protocols, and resource logistics during catastrophic events. With 50+ years in emergency services since 1971, he retired as Lieutenant Colonel after 30 years leading Medical Support for the 193rd Special Operations Wing, overseeing Aerospace Medicine and Global Health Engagements. He concurrently retired from the Department of Veterans Affairs in 2022 while maintaining active duty as Bern Township's Emergency Management Coordinator.

Current teaching responsibilities include Public Health Implications in Disasters and Logistic Management in Disasters courses within the graduate program.
