Kevin Kaiser

Kevin Kaiser is an Adjunct Professor of Finance and Senior Director of the Harris Family Alternative Investments Program at The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. Previously, he served as Professor of Management Practice and Finance faculty at INSEAD from 1992 to 2017, where he received multiple teaching awards.

Dr. Kaiser’s research focuses on corporate finance, private equity, financial distress, and value creation through corporate restructuring. His recent work emphasizes corporate governance and value-based management strategies.

His publications span private equity, corporate governance, and distressed investing, reflecting a trend toward practical applications of value investing in corporate restructuring and activist shareholder campaigns. Key journals include Journal of Applied Corporate Finance, Harvard Business Review, and INSEAD Working Papers.
