Kevin Cook

Kevin Cook is a Professional Engineer and Professor of Mechanical Engineering Technology at Montana State University, affiliated with the College of Engineering and the Center for Biofilm Engineering. His specialties include machine design, tool design, manufacturing processes, and applications of mechanical systems in buildings. He collaborates with senior undergraduate students and the Standardized Biofilm Methods group to enhance biofilm systems like the CDC biofilm reactor.

Mr. Cook has received notable awards, including the 2011 MSU College of Engineering Faculty Award for Excellence in Outreach and Service, and the Outstanding MET Instructor award nine times. As the Mechanical Engineering Technology Program Coordinator, he has doubled student participation. His service roles include Chair of the ASME MET Department Heads Committee and membership on the ASME Center for Education Board of Directors.
