Kevin Clarno is a tenured Associate Professor in the Department of Nuclear and Radiation Engineering at the University of Texas at Austin, holding the Charlotte Maer Patton Centennial Fellowship in Engineering. His research focuses on computational nuclear energy, multiphysics reactor simulation, and high-performance computing (HPC). Previously, he spent 15 years at Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL), where he led major initiatives such as the Consortium for Advanced Simulation of Light Water Reactors (CASL) and contributed to the development of software tools like SCALE, CTF, and VERA.
