Kevin Ching Wei Li is an Associate Professor in Nuclear and Energy Physics at the University of Oslo. His research focuses on nuclear structure, particularly nuclear clustering, nuclear astrophysics, and medical applications of nuclear physics. He holds a PhD from the University of Stellenbosch (2020) and completed postdoctoral fellowships at the University of Oslo (Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions) and iThemba LABS, South Africa. He received the 2016 John Todd Morrison Research Medal for his work. Li collaborates with the Oslo Cyclotron Laboratory (OCL) and the PANDORA collaboration, advancing studies in photonuclear reactions and nuclear astrophysics. His experimental work involves advanced techniques like in-situ scattering and detector development.
Education: BSc (2012), MSc (2015), Honors (2013), PhD (2020) in Nuclear Physics from University of Stellenbosch.
