Kevin Brown is a Lecturer in the School of Industrial Design at Georgia Institute of Technology (Georgia Tech). He holds a Master of Industrial Design from Georgia Tech and a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Design with a minor in Apparel Design from Appalachian State University.
His expertise spans consumer and industrial product design, with notable work on the Bloom Lamp—recognized by the European Product Design Awards and LIT Awards. He also holds several utility and design patents. Teaching focuses include digital design tools (Fusion 360, SolidWorks, Rhinoceros 3D), parametric modeling, and rapid digital prototyping. His consulting experience includes collaborations with Quikrete, Hunter Fan, Platform Product Design, and Ratio Product Labs.
