Kevin Barlow is a Senior Lecturer and Practicum Coordinator in the Department of Human Development and Family Studies at Utah State University. He can be reached at kevin.barlow@usu.edu and is based in the Family Life Building, Room 216. With over two decades of experience as a marriage and family therapist and administrator, he now focuses on teaching and mentoring future professionals.

His research focuses on therapy efficacy and resiliency, while his teaching interests include professional ethics, writing, and development. He oversees the HDFS Practicum program, mental health practicum, adolescent lab, and gerontology lab.
Kevin received the Undergraduate Mentor of the Year award in 2021. He has taught courses such as HDFS 4220 - Family Crises and Interventions, HDFS 4900 - Pre-Practicum and Professional Development, and supervised practicum programs for mental health, gerontology, and adolescent development.
