Kevin A. Stein serves as Professor of Communication and Graduate Director of the Master of Arts in Professional Communication (MAPC) program at Southern Utah University's Department of Communication.
His research specializes in public apology rhetoric, developing the theory of antapologia (discursive responses to apologia) and examining attack/defense rhetorical strategies. He maintains the educational resource Public Apology Central and has presented analyses of public apologies through TEDxSUU talks and X96 Radio interviews.
As MAPC Graduate Director, Dr. Stein oversees program administration and curriculum development while actively conducting research in rhetorical communication. His work bridges theoretical frameworks with real-world applications in crisis communication and discursive accountability.
