Kevin A. Nelson

Kevin A. Nelson is the Associate Dean of the School of Business at Western Colorado University. He holds a PhD in Hospitality and Tourism from Michigan State University (2002), an MA in Natural Resource Economics (1994), and a BA in Economics from Brigham Young University (1991). His research focuses on tourism economics, including economic impacts on local communities and tourist satisfaction surveys in Colorado, Michigan, and beyond. He has held leadership roles such as department chair, associate dean, and associate vice president for Academic Affairs.
