Kerstin Zander is a Senior Research Fellow at the Northern Institute within the Faculty of Arts and Society at Charles Darwin University. She holds a PhD in Environmental and Resource Economics from the Center for Development Research (ZEF), University of Bonn, Germany. Her research focuses on quantitative methods and econometric models to explore human-nature relationships, particularly in climate adaptation, disaster risk reduction, and sustainable development. She has led projects on heat stress impacts, renewable energy adoption, and policy analysis in Australia and globally.
