Kerry Preston is an Assistant Lecturer and Postgraduate Research Student in the Department of Sociology and Criminology at the University of Essex. They also serve as a Make Happen Outreach Assistant at the CER - Outreach. Their research focuses on desistance processes among UK gang members, anti-gang legislation, and policing practices.
