Kerrie Schoffer, MD, FRCPC, is an Assistant Professor in the Division of Neurology at Dalhousie University’s Faculty of Medicine and practices at the QEII Health Sciences Centre in Halifax, Nova Scotia. She established the Movement Disorders Clinic and Huntington’s Clinic in the region and is actively involved in clinical research, teaching, and patient advocacy.

Her research focuses on neurodegenerative diseases, particularly Parkinson’s and Huntington’s, with leadership roles in studies like Enroll-HD and Generation HD. She also contributes to neuromodulation and Duodopa programs for clinical care.
Dr. Schoffer is recognized for her community leadership, including the Michael Wright Community Leadership Award from the Huntington’s Society of Canada. She actively teaches medical students, residents, and allied health professionals through organizations like Parkinson’s Canada and the Dystonia Medical Research Foundation.
