Kent Williams is a Professor in the DeVoe Division of Business at Indiana Wesleyan University (IWU), serving as a full-time faculty member since 1995. His expertise spans accounting, entrepreneurship, and business ethics. He pioneered the Entrepreneurship major at IWU in 2005 and has held prior corporate accounting and tax roles.
Education includes an MBA in Entrepreneurship and Corporate Innovation from Ball State University (2002) and a BS from Olivet Nazarene University (1984).
Research interests focus on professional ethics in accounting, competency development, and the accounting profession's public responsibility. He has presented at conferences and served on ethics committees, including the Indiana CPA Society's Professional Ethics Committee and AICPA's Council.
Recipient of the 2018 CPA Center of Excellence® Award for excellence in advancing collaboration, business skills, and lifelong learning in the profession.
