Dr. Kent Walters serves as the Professor of Music and Director of Music Programs at Cornerstone University's School of Ministry, Media & the Arts. He directs the University Chorale and Credo, teaches Advanced Choral Conducting, Vocal Diction, and Ear Training, and oversees music programs. Dr. Walters also serves as a faculty member and Director of Alumni Activities at the Robert E. Webber Institute for Worship Studies, where he edits publications and organizes international postgraduate seminars in worship studies.

Research & Interests: Focuses on worship renewal, liturgical history, choral literature, biblical studies, and spiritual formation. Emphasizes integrating academic rigor with spiritual development in his teaching and leadership roles.
Campus & Professional Engagement:
- Member of the Worship Grant Committee and Student Success Committee
- Artistic Director of the Annual Christmas Concert
- Organizes national/international chorale tours and collaborates with the Grand Rapids Symphony
- Licensed member of the American Choral Directors Association (ACDA)
Community Involvement: Conducts high school choral/vocal clinics, strength trains, gardens, and enjoys time with grandchildren.
