Kenshiro Oguri is an Assistant Professor in the School of Aeronautics and Astronautics at Purdue University since 2022. He holds a Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder and degrees from the University of Tokyo. His research focuses on astrodynamics, control, optimization, and space autonomy, addressing challenges in space exploration through mission design, trajectory optimization, and spacecraft GNC systems.

- Mentors over 20 graduate and undergraduate students in topics like cislunar navigation, trajectory optimization, and GNC systems.
- Recipient of NASA grants supporting research in space autonomy and mission design.
Labs/Teams: Director of the Oguri Research Group, collaborating with NASA JPL, JAXA, and institutions like Politecnico di Milano. Active in Purdue’s Cislunar Space Initiative and the Institute for Control, Optimization, and Networks (ICON).
