Dr. Kenneth Myers serves as Assistant Professor of Counselor Education and Clinical Coordinator at Asbury Theological Seminary. An ordained Elder in the United Methodist Church, he brings 26 years of pastoral experience from South Georgia and North Florida to his academic role, integrating theological perspectives with clinical counseling practice.
His educational background includes a B.S. in Business Administration from Elizabethtown College (1988), M.Div. from Asbury Seminary (1995), M.A. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Regent University (2016), and Ph.D. in Counseling and Counselor Education from the University of Florida (2021). His dissertation explored counselors' experiences with adult male survivors of childhood sexual abuse.
