Kenneth Myers

Dr. Kenneth Myers serves as Assistant Professor of Counselor Education and Clinical Coordinator at Asbury Theological Seminary. An ordained Elder in the United Methodist Church, he brings 26 years of pastoral experience from South Georgia and North Florida to his academic role, integrating theological perspectives with clinical counseling practice.

His educational background includes a B.S. in Business Administration from Elizabethtown College (1988), M.Div. from Asbury Seminary (1995), M.A. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Regent University (2016), and Ph.D. in Counseling and Counselor Education from the University of Florida (2021). His dissertation explored counselors' experiences with adult male survivors of childhood sexual abuse.

Dr. Myers specializes in trauma therapy, men's mental health, and faith-integrated counseling approaches. His clinical expertise spans depression, anxiety, marriage counseling, and childhood sexual abuse survivor support, emphasizing strengths-based client empowerment within a Christian framework. Professional certifications include Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC) and Board Certified-TeleMental Health Provider.
