Kenneth Moss is the Harriet and Ulrich E. Meyer Professor of Jewish History at the University of Chicago. His scholarship examines Jewish politics, culture, and nationalism in Eastern Europe, Palestine, and Israel across the 20th century, with emphasis on Zionism, secularism, and post-Holocaust Jewish life.
Research Focus: Polish/Russian Jewry; cultural renaissance during revolutions; diaspora identity; Holocaust memory; contemporary Jewish conflicts in Israel/US.
