Kenneth McMillan

Kenneth McMillan is an Honorary Lecturer at the University of Glasgow's School of Cardiovascular & Metabolic Health. His research focuses on soccer small-sided game formats, physical/perceptual demands, and tactical strategies. He is affiliated with the Sports Physiology Lab in the Kelvin Building.

Research Interests: McMillan explores how game configurations and team strategies influence athlete performance, with particular attention to metabolic and perceptual responses. His work applies to soccer training methodologies and competitive strategy optimization.

Publications (2022): Two peer-reviewed articles analyze soccer small-sided games, addressing playing area dimensions, player numerical imbalance, and their effects on physical exertion and perceptual fatigue.
