Kenneth Draper, PhD is a Professor of History and Director of Planning and Assessment at Ambrose University. He holds a PhD (McMaster University), MA (McMaster University), and BA [Hons] (Queen's University). His research explores the transformation of religious identity in late 19th-early 20th century Canada, focusing on shifts from public denominational identity to privatized spirituality. Recent work extends into public history and memory studies, particularly how marginalized narratives challenge national historiographies.

Research emphasizes intersections between religious practice, social change, and memory. Current projects include the Christian and Missionary Alliance Oral History Project. Conference presentations address memory's role in historical interpretation, including contributions to the 2021 Christian Education in a Secular Age Conference and 2019 Western Regional Conference on Faith and History. His publications analyze Victorian religious institutions, lay movements, and contested historical narratives.
