Kenneth Christensen serves as an Assistant Teaching Professor of Piano at Montana State University's School of Music within the College of Arts and Architecture. A nationally certified music teacher and active performer, he maintains an international career with appearances at prestigious venues including Carnegie Hall, London's Royal Albert Hall, and King's College Chapel in Cambridge.

His scholarly work centers on 19th Century piano literature within Music History, complemented by comprehensive teaching in Piano Pedagogy, Music Theory, and Aural Perception. His instructional practice spans Applied Piano, Collaborative Piano, and Class Piano across multiple course levels.
Recent creative output includes the 2024 chamber music recital 'Ken and Julia Music for Cello and Piano,' demonstrating his expertise in collaborative performance and contemporary repertoire.

He co-founded the piano duo '2 Pianos 4 Hands' with Liza Hella, performing nationally since 1997 with notable appearances including Carnegie Hall (2006) and the Emmy Award-winning '11th and Grant' television program (2007).
