Kendra Dupuy

Kendra Dupuy is an Assistant Professor in the Political Science Department at Western Washington University, specializing as a political economist focusing on African politics. Her research examines natural resource management, climate change policies, green energy transitions, education sectors, and democratic quality in African countries. She has conducted fieldwork across multiple African nations including Ghana, Sierra Leone, Liberia, Zambia, South Africa, Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, and Ethiopia, employing both quantitative and qualitative methodologies.

Dr. Dupuy holds a Ph.D. in Political Science from the University of Washington. She has contributed policy advice to organizations such as the World Bank, Natural Resource Governance Institute, and the Human Security Report Project.
