Kendell C. Thornton is a Teaching Professor in the Department of Psychology at East Carolina University (ECU). His research focuses on cognitive dynamics underlying motivations and emotions in couple interactions, with emphasis on self-esteem, self-concept, and embarrassment in close relationships.
