Ken Sauer is an Associate Professor at the University of Notre Dame’s College of Engineering, affiliated with the Department of Electrical Engineering. His work focuses on statistical methods for solving inverse problems, particularly in medical imaging technologies such as emission and transmission tomography, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), and X-ray computed tomography (CT). He collaborates with GE Healthcare and Purdue University to advance imaging techniques that reduce radiation exposure in diagnostic applications.
