Kelly Zinn

Kelly Zinn is an Associate Professor and Coordinator for Student Success & Wellness at the School of Nursing, Sam Houston State University (SHSU). With a PhD in Nursing, her academic focus spans clinical and research domains including diabetes management, childhood obesity, and adolescent health leadership.

Research Interests concentrate on diabetes self-care in rural populations and childhood obesity prevention. Her publications reflect expertise in adolescent health interventions, chronic disease education, and nursing policy.

Scientific Contributions include key roles in the Texas Academic Progression in Nursing (TX APIN) Project and leadership in nursing honor societies. Awards highlight her excellence in teaching and professional recognition.
