Kelly Anne Aschbrenner is an Associate Professor in the Department of Psychiatry and the Department of Health Policy and Clinical Practice at the Geisel School of Medicine, Dartmouth College, demonstrating an interdisciplinary career bridging clinical psychiatry and health systems research.
Her research centers on mental health interventions for neurodiverse populations, particularly autism spectrum disorders, with a strong emphasis on implementation science to translate evidence into real-world healthcare settings. She actively collaborates with Dartmouth's play2Prevent Lab and nonprofit Proof Positive to develop digital mental health games for autistic youth, merging technology with clinical innovation. Her work is further evidenced by institutional involvement in a major $12 million NIH COBRE grant awarded to Geisel in September 2025 for advancing implementation science research infrastructure.
